How can I advertise my site or blog for free?
To answer this question, like most others, one must first go to the great Google and type in a query. I did just that, and once again, I happened upon ProBlogger; it had a great link to free advertising deals from several major ad services.
So I decided that instead of sending you there, I will post the offers here myself!
Okay, first and foremost, we’ll talk about Google’s offer because, well, Google rocks.
Click here to get a Christmas season $50 advertising coupon free from Google! Now, this coupon, from what I’ve read does not seem to have any expiration to it but my instincts tell me that it’s only going to be available during the Christmas season.
Microsoft
Next, is Microsoft’s offer. I thought about signing up with them in the past but then I saw their $5 fee for signing up and I wondered what kind of crack they were smoking. Now they’re offering a coupon for $200-worth of free ad clicks, after that same $5 fee of course, but now it’s worth it! Make sure you enter the coupon code though: DM-2-1106.
LookSmart
Okay, to use this promotion, you must be an advertiser and set your budget to at least $10.00/day ($300/mo). Click here to sign up with LookSmart and use the following code when you sign up: SESCHQ4. The coupon is for $300! Yes, that’s right. You get $300 worth of advertising (or a maximum of 30 days free). This one does have an expiration though, and it’s Christmas day of this year (12/25/06 for those of you who are Xmas-impaired).
Ask
I have yet to take advantage of this one yet, so pinch me if it’s a dream but Ask.com is handing out $600.00 worth of free advertising for entering the promotional code SESCHI06 during your checkout. Click here to join up. If anyone does actually get $600 worth, please let me know!
